Under heat and sunlight, the chlorine atoms on a small number of tertiary carbon atoms of chlorinated paraffin will break away from the adjacent hydrogen atoms at the same time, releasing HCl, which can catalyze the decomposition of chlorinated paraffin, affecting its application effect. In order to improve the stability of chlorinated paraffin, a high-efficiency composite stabilizer has been successfully developed with ethylene glycol glycidyl ether (DGEG) and methyl tin as main stabilizers, triphenyl phosphite (TPP) and epoxidized soybean oil (ESO) as auxiliary stabilizers, and UV absorbers UV-531 and antioxidants.
