Properties:
White flakes or granules. Melting point 59.4～59.8℃; 210℃. Soluble in alcohol, benzene, chloroform, insoluble in water.

Uses:
It can be used instead of hexadecanol as an additive for oil-based fracturing fluid. Octadecanol can be used to produce pingpingjia, resin and synthetic rubber, color film coloring agent, etc.
