Dodecanol ester is widely used in my country’s buildings and decorative materials and is an ideal film-forming aid. Dodecanol ester is a strong solvent for latex polymers and has very good hydrolysis stability, high agglomeration performance, and a wide range of applications, but its main function is to form a film for latex paint. It is an ideal film-forming aid, which is mainly manifested in the following aspects. 1. It can reduce the minimum film-forming temperature of latex paint: Dodecanol ester has an outstanding solvent effect, that is, it has a very strong agglomeration ability.
